120x120 floor tiles for large, calm floor surfaces
120x120 floor tiles are among the large square tile sizes and significantly reduce the number of visible joints compared with smaller formats. This creates a calm tiled appearance in which color, texture, and pattern have plenty of room to stand out.
The size is particularly effective on larger floor surfaces. Beforehand, measure how the tiles will work around walls, doors, and fixed furniture to avoid very narrow cut pieces as much as possible.
120x120 tiles in a range of colors and looks
The current range includes 120x120 tiles in gray, beige, white, black, cream, and various softer neutral shades, among others. Concrete-look, marble-look, and other stone-effect patterns are also available.
A calm gray or beige floor combines easily with wood and light-colored furniture, while black or a strongly veined marble look adds more contrast. Therefore, always view several tiles together to assess color variation and pattern distribution properly.
Concrete-look floor tiles or a striking marble pattern?
Concrete-look floor tiles create a relatively calm surface with subtle nuances and work well in modern, minimalist interiors. With the large 120x120 format, the concrete effect remains broadly visible without numerous joints interrupting the surface.
Marble-look versions place more emphasis on veins and color variations. With these 120x120 tiles, it is advisable to check beforehand how the different tiles will be arranged together, so that the overall pattern runs evenly across the floor.
Large floor tiles require extra attention during installation
With large floor tiles, a level subfloor is especially important. Small height differences are more noticeable with a large format and can make installation more difficult, especially where multiple tile edges meet.
The grout color also affects the end result. Grout close to the tile color creates a more continuous, calmer floor, while contrasting grout makes the square 120x120 grid more visible.
Check the specifications of each 120x120 floor tile
The collection includes various product series with different finishes, including matte, polished, and specific slip-resistant variants. Technical specifications such as the R rating, underfloor heating compatibility, and frost resistance therefore vary by product.
Always check the product page for the selected 120x120 floor tile before ordering. Pay attention to the material, finish, rectified edges, application, and other specifications relevant to your space or project.
