A walk-in shower is a real eye-catcher in the bathroom. Entering the shower area without having to open a door. Walk-in showers can often also be placed directly on the floor. In both cases, this increases ease of entry.
The walk-in showers from our Smoke series create a different atmosphere in the bathroom due to the dark tinted glass. In addition, this type of glass provides much more privacy than, for example, the Comfort walk-in shower with clear glass.
This Smoke walk-in shower from Wiesbaden Sanitair, 80 cm wide, is made of 10 mm thick tempered safety glass and finished with NANO-coating. Thanks to the wall profile, and its adjustability, the walk-in shower is easy to install. Even if the floor and wall are not exactly at right angles to each other. The included stabilizing bar ensures that the walk-in shower is very sturdy after installation.
Tempered safety glass:
All our walk-in showers are standard made of tempered safety glass. Safety glass is, as the name suggests, safer than standard glass. When normal glass breaks, the glass plate will shatter into large pieces. With safety glass, the glass is produced in such a way that if it breaks, the glass plate shatters into thousands of small pieces. As a result, the risk of serious injury is many times smaller. Especially during installation, where most breakages occur, this is of course a big plus.
NANO-coating:
On a microscopic level, the world looks very different. In the case of glass, it can be seen that a product made of glass has many small open pores. Dirt and limescale can quickly adhere through these pores. By applying NANO-coating with (mechanical) rollers, these pores are 'sealed' and dirt and limescale adhere much less quickly to the glass surface. NANO-coating therefore ensures that the product stays clean longer and limescale and dirt adhere less quickly. Low-maintenance therefore.
